The date and venue have been confirmed for the DAB’s 2025 Ski Day, mark your calendars for Friday March 7th at Winter Park! There are resorts other than WP where we could hold this event, but it makes the organizers happy not to have to reinvent the wheel and it only takes an hour to get there from the Dinosaur parking lots (a great place to carpool) located at the Morrison exit on I-70. Also, there are a surprising number of DAB skiers with IKON passes, so nobody should end-up paying the regular daily rate due to some level of discount.

Paul Rizzo and Robin Whitelaw, who know WP like the back of their hands, have again volunteered to be our guides. If you are comfortable skiing on blue runs you will fit right in. We will ski a couple laps together as one big happy group before Paul gathers together the diehards to head over to the iconic bump runs of Mary Jane and Robin (a certified ski instructor who is happy to provide pointers to those interested) will lead another group that prefers skiing less aggressive terrain. And no problem if you want to rip the mountain on your own and rejoin the group for a 2pm après ski.
